Teaching CV
Since I finished my Master´s degree from Manhattan School of Music in 1991, I have successfully run my own private singing school in Iceland, teaching all levels from beginners to professionals. My clients include opera singers, actors and pop singers. I have held vocal production courses in speech for the State Union of Teachers in Iceland, trained and conducted choruses all over the country, taught musical theatre classes for children to teenagers. I regularly hold masterclasses for classical singers in Iceland and have also thaught master classes in Canada (Edmonton and Vancouver) I teach a musical course especially designed for handicapped people, a project that was chosen the best program of 40.000 programs in the field by the EC in the year 2003. I conduct a singing ensemble that performs regularly with me on various occations.
The past years I taught singing at the Reykjavik Singing School (college level), which collaborates with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Great Britain.
Now I have my own private voice studio in Loveland, Colorado, where I teach singing to all levels and styles; travel to give master classes throughout the USA and Canada, as well as performing in the field of opera, voice recitals and on recordings.
